The studies were conducted among adults with a household income of $50,000+. Qualified respondents also must have traveled within the past 3 years.
The studies were designed to measure:
- Who the business & leisure travelers are
- Where and why they are going on business/leisure trips
- Factors important when making travel decisions
- Role of Internet on travel planning
- Brand data
- Travel websites visited
- Security concerns and effects on travel (especially since 9/11/01)
- Readership of 110 publications
- Viewership of 42 cable TV channels.
The total universe for the study consists of 48,001,863 business travelers and 69,463,742 leisure travelers.
