David S. March, Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing
In February 2008, David March was named Vice President – Sales & Marketing of Erdos & Morgan, a division of Beta Research Corp.
March bring to Erdos & Morgan over 17 years of publishing experience. As Group Publisher of CMPMedica’s Cliggott Publishing Group, he was responsible for managing the Consultant franchise. During the course of his tenure at Cliggott, he had a track record of increasing market share, developing new business ideas and team building. During that time he gained extensive experience in sales and marketing, developing business plans, budgeting and managing P&L responsibilities. This was highlighted as he expanded the business by launching Consultant Clinician's Edition, Consultant For Pediatricians and ConsultantLive.com as well as other various single and limited sponsorship publications. This enabled him to expand his knowledge in print and on-line media while growing revenue and profit margins.
He began his career in market research, having worked for Beta Research from 1983 to 1989. Starting as a computer programmer, he quickly gravitated towards client services. He then moved into publishing in the beginning of 1990.

March’s primary focus as EVP - Sales & Marketing of Erdos & Morgan is to help clients understand evolving markets and develop new insights that will allow them to maintain a strategic competitive edge. Jason Gorelkin continues, “David recognizes that publishers need to address the full spectrum of traditional and alternative media. Existing print properties need to evolve, and new initiatives, such as online and face-to-face, must be created and launched. His responsibilities will be to help our clients increase their odds of success through intelligent, actionable research. And in addition to custom projects, David will be working to help clients maximize their use of syndicated research results.”
He is the 2008 President of the Association of Medical Media (AMM) working closely with the American Business Media association (ABM). He has also been a member of the Healthcare Marketing & Communications Council, serving as chairman of the HMC News committee for 5 years.
March earned his bachelor's degree in business management at Ithaca College. He has also successfully completed the Management Development program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
He resides in Ramsey, New Jersey, with his three sons and wife.
